The role
The Head of Marketing at Endotherapeutics will be a pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, market penetration, and revenue growth in the competitive medical devices industry. This role demands an experienced, dynamic marketer with a deep understanding of the medical device and health care sector, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven record of accomplishment of delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
Key responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a robust marketing strategy. This includes working closely with each business unit to improve brand awareness, market penetration and revenue, as well as conducting market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and the overall competitive landscape.
- Brand Management: Enhance and maintain the company’s image and reputation as a leading medical device supplier in the market and promote the company as an employer of choice.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire team members and foster a collaborative and innovative team culture to ensure a high-performing marketing team.
- Digital Marketing and Analytics: Drive digital marketing efforts and utilize data analytics to make data-driven decisions and strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure synergy in marketing efforts and build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, i.e. healthcare professionals, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Information and Business Advice: Provide specialist advice and marketing insights to key stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget and monitor expenditures and ROI to ensure cost-effective marketing initiatives.
- Travel as required
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
- MBA is highly valued
- Strong understanding and experiencing working with Marketing and CRM software such as Hubspot and Salesforce
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare or medical devices industry.
- Experience utilising AI tools to increase marketing productivity and capability
- Proven record of accomplishment of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Innovative and growth mindset
- Understands the buying influencer needs of the medical device industry.
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
- Ability to create reports, analyse data to determine ROI, and track performance of marketing campaigns
- Product and clinical expertise in core product portfolio and therapeutic areas is preferred but not required
- WFH 1 x day per week
