The role

A Product Specialist role exists in our Urodynamics team that sells and supports products such as Urodynamics and Uroflowmetry Equipment, Bladder Scanners & Ultrasound Scanners, high quality catheters, pessaries, lubricants, drainage accessories and related products across the urology and continence market. To contribute to the teams shared success, you will be a dynamic, dedicated, and hard-working medical devices sales professional who is driven to exceed your targets. Endotherapeutics’ Product Specialists are experts in their clinical area and actively promote, educate, and support the adoption of the specified portfolio of Endotherapeutics products.

  • Consistently achieve sales targets and KPIs
  • Develop and execute a business plan which includes strategies for achieving sales targets, protecting existing business, identification of new target areas and management of key accounts and customers
  • Work with the Product Manager and Business Unit Manager to achieve strategic objectives, including conversion of major accounts and growth in existing accounts
  • Further develop and promote sales channels, including key accounts, pricing contracts, re-seller relationships, website and e-store capabilities
  • Continually develop your product and clinical knowledge
  • Develop relationships with all stakeholders in accounts that are relevant to your sales objectives
  • Promote/educate customers and patients on suitable products and assist with education as required
  • Ensure deadlines for tenders and pricing contracts are met (in conjunction with our Contracts Manager)
  • Maintain and utilise CRM database (Salesforce) to maintain contacts and develop business plan for forecasting
  • Regular meetings with key accounts and industry contacts
  • Attendance at seminars and conferences as determined by the Product Manager
  • Submit all documentation in a timely manner, including monthly expense reports

About you

  • Education: Tertiary qualifications preferred
  • Proven track record of experience and success within medical device sales or another healthcare sales related role
  • Urology or continence nursing background preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience in developing close customer relationships and providing high levels of customer service support
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to learn and communicate clinical and technical information
  • Ability to analyse sales reports and spreadsheets to identify trends and changes
  • Strong competence in MS Excel is a must, plus basic MS Word and Powerpoint skills required
  • Committed and proactive to ongoing learning and development
  • Team player who enjoys working towards shared goals
  • Dynamic, out of the box thinker who also enjoys a challenge
  • Organised, punctual, professional
